Mr. Williams holds a BA in Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University and has over 20 years of experience in construction.

He is an expert extraordinaire at estimating and bidding and heads up HGL’s pre-construction and project/program management teams. His experience spans all aspects of the construction industry. He has also negotiated, field supervised, project managed and built multi-million projects including Infrastructure, biotech and research labs, offices, hospitals, schools, libraries and housing complexes.

Mr. Williams has experience in negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, estimating and bidding private and public projects, overseeing design-build projects, generating detailed take-offs for all trades, writing subcontracts and purchase orders, processing submittals, generating RFI’s and Change Orders, scheduling, managing personnel and projects on a day-to-day basis, mentoring and motivating employees, hiring personnel, overseeing project financials and project controls, and managing contractor/owner and subcontractor relations.

Finally, Mr. Williams is versed and experienced in commercial codes and regulations, building methods and practices and most construction software including Primavera, Timberline, Hard Dollar and Means Estimating. He is the backbone of HGL’s boots on the ground!
