HGL Construction, Inc. (HGL), named in honor of our founder Hollis G. Lloyd, is an award-winning, full-service construction management company delivering high-performing, efficient, and safely executed projects across the U.S.

Since 1994, we’ve treated every project as our own, bringing a hands-on, mission-first mindset to each job site. With deep roots in federal construction and a reputation for excellence, we’ve expanded into broader markets, applying our experience, precision, and people-first approach to every opportunity.

What began as a small, family-run firm serving our local community has grown into a respected national partner known for innovation, responsiveness, and exceptional client care. Though our reach has grown, we remain family-owned and grounded in Mr. Lloyd’s legacy building with purpose, integrity, and a commitment to making quality construction solutions more accessible to all.

OUR STORY

HGL Construction was founded in 1994 by retired Air Force Master Sergeant Hollis G. Lloyd, who believed that construction—done with care and discipline—could uplift entire communities. Starting with a $6,540 home repair project in Midwest City, Oklahoma, Hollis set out to provide high-quality, affordable work for neighborhoods too often overlooked.

That small, purpose-driven beginning grew into something much larger. Today, HGL is a trusted construction partner to federal, municipal, and institutional clients across the U.S. Our portfolio includes everything from housing to multimillion-dollar military and infrastructure projects.

Though our reach has expanded, our mission remains the same. We’re still a family-owned company, grounded in Hollis’s values of service, resilience, and doing what’s right. We believe in building more than structures—we build opportunity, trust, and lasting impact.
