HGL Construction is serving as prime contractor on this design-bid-build medical renovation project at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. The scope of work consists of demolition, asbestos abatement, structural steel, steel erection, roofing, millwork, drywall and acoustical ceiling, painting, flooring, tile work, hollow-metal doors, hardware, wood doors, handrail and corner guards, fire sprinkler, mechanical (HVAC), test and balance (TAB), electrical, and fire alarm. This project is located within an existing occupied and operational VA medical facility. HGL has partnered with the VA to overcome numerous Differing Site Conditions (DSC), such as asbestos in the existing roofing materials and asbestos mastic under the existing flooring.
